Service Guidelines

To ensure the most accurate valuation for your artworks and a safe community experience in the Public Gallery, please review the following guidelines.

1. Photo Upload Requirements
  • High Resolution & Clarity: Ensure the image is sharp, in focus, and has natural lighting without heavy glare or harsh shadows.
  • Uncropped & Uncut: Capture the full artwork including its natural edges. Do not crop out parts of the piece.
  • No Obstructions: Avoid having hands, reflections, background clutter, or digital watermarks covering the artwork.
  • File Formats: Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, and GIF with a maximum file size of 20MB.
2. Artwork Description
  • Materials & Medium: Specify the medium (e.g., Oil on canvas, Bronze sculpture, Acrylic, Mixed Media).
  • Dimensions & Year: Providing the physical dimensions (height × width × depth) and the year of creation improves valuation accuracy.
  • Artist Background: Mention if the piece is by an emerging, recognized, or master artist.
3. Valuation & Certification
  • BMSFAP Criteria: The artwork is evaluated across 6 objective artistic criteria (Concept, Design, Technical Skill, Creativity, Aesthetic Impact, and Finish).
  • Certificate Delivery: Once the payment ($2.00) is confirmed, your official certificate and payment receipt are instantly generated and emailed to you as PDF documents.
  • Reference Price: The suggested valuation is an objective reference guide based on the BMSFAP scale.
4. Public Gallery Guidelines
